Celine Cremer Investigation # 2: the sudden 180 degree change in direction.

Preview

Welcome back to our ongoing investigation into the disappearance of Belgian backpacker Celine Cremer. Since our first post, we’ve continued to delve deeper into the tragic events that unfolded on June 2023 at Philosopher Falls in Tasmania’s rugged north‑west. While authorities have identified remains found in February 2026 as Celine’s, many still feel the tug of lingering questions about her final moments in that dense, remote rainforest. In this second investigation, I follow more of Rob Parsons’ YouTube video The Search for Celine Cremer : Real Time Hill Ascent, which documents and retraces Celine’s footsteps.

PSYCHIC INFORMATION - Obtained through Clairsentience (clear feeling) and Claircognizance (clear knowing).

Having received the first terrifying insight at Celine’s furthest point on the trail, I decided to trace all of her footsteps and re‑examine areas of her journey that still didn’t make sense to me. The next point of interest is where Celine makes a sudden 180 degree turn off the trail and her course. She heads up a mountain ascending into thick dense forest right before dark. As documented by Rob retracing her route and showing the GPS points she recorded, Celine — after spending about eight minutes at her furthest spot — turns around and begins to retrace her steps along the water race. She navigates very close to the race, clearly aware that following it will lead her back to the car park. Celine pins GPS points whilst doing this. At this stage she is generally heading northeast as she works her way around the mountain’s contour towards Philosopher Falls. At a certain point on this trail, Celine completely changes direction and heads due south. In his film, Rob identifies that Celines Google Maps arrow points north at this exact location. He implies she may have lost the water race and therefore chose to turn directly south to try and reach the carpark. This direction takes her uphill which is something she wouldnt have experienced whilst following the water race trail as it follows the contour around the mountain. This direction also takes her into dense unknown forest with no trail at all. From the map on her phone the carpark sits due south and suggested theories propose she decided to head off the trail and attempt to walk direct to the car park due to impending nightfall. She begins to climb up the mountain and very shortly hits dense bush. At this point, Rob, retracing her footsteps states “Well, I guess she is just committed at this point”.

Here is what I picked at this point of the film through clairsentience. At the GPS location where Celine leaves her known trail along the water race I once again felt a wave of terror exactly like the one I had felt at the 8 minute mark. This created a physical response in my body of goosebumps and extremely tight tension along with a very heightened sense of fear and alertness. This feeling remained with me for two days. As I sat with this feeling I thought ‘What could possibly create such terror in Australian bush ?’. My mind ran through options of animals but there is nothing that fits. The only threat that does fit is a human. At this point claircognizance came through like a light bulb and I received a download of the experience and what occurred in a second of knowing. Suddenly all of Celines odd decisions on the day made sense and I found it difficult to believe what had been revealed due to the nature of it (more of that to come in future posts). What I picked up and believe is that at this point Celine possibly sighted the person she was hiding from further up the trail waiting for her. Either that or she felt their presence. I am a moderately experienced hiker and a reasonably seasoned solo traveller. I am also a woman. The only circumstance in which I would make the choice at any time to leave a trail would be if the immediate threat on the trail seemed far greater than the danger on the trail itself. Not to forget it was going on dark, they were unfamiliar woods without a path and she had inadequate gear. Something convinced her it was safer to abandon the familiar path. I believe the terror I was picking up was real for her at this point and so she chose to plunge into an unknown, unmarked, thick, dense forest as darkness fell. I don’t believe she had any other option at this point for her survival.

In my next investigation I will continue further along Celine’s trail to my next point of contention with the ‘Lost’ theory. In the weeks following this I will pull all of this together, backed up by my trip to Philosopher Falls in Tasmania, to debunk theories and present my theory of why Celine made such odd decisions on the day.
