William Tyrrell Investigation #1: The Forest Edge and the Peeling White Tree

Preview

For more than ten years, the image of a three-year-old boy in a Spider-Man suit has been etched into the Australian consciousness. While the landscape of the investigation has shifted from the bushland of Kendall to the witness box of a Coronial Inquest, the core objective has never wavered: finding William. Even as the years turn into a decade, the call to 'bring him home' remains as urgent as the day he vanished. This is no longer just a search for a missing toddler; it is a decade-long promise from a community that refuses to let a child be forgotten until every leaf has been turned and every question answered.

My first lead on William Tyrrell came from my mother, who suggested it while we were having dinner and I was talking about other high-profile cases. I told her I wasn’t working on it then and had other cases in mind. When I got home, a YouTube video of William kept freezing and replaying the same shot: three images of him moving toward the camera and saying a word I couldn’t hear. I couldn’t unfreeze it and resolved to look into William Tyrrell the next day.

PSYCHIC INVESTIGATION: Psychic methods utilise include mediumship, clairvoyance, clairsentience, psychic navigation and remote viewing.

The initial vision I receive is of William hiding behind a large tree. He is peeking out cautiously from the left hand side of the trunk, partly obscured by shadow. He appears to be playing hide and seek and does not want to emerge from behind the tree. The tree is approximately 1.5 metres wide and has smooth pale bark except for the bottom metre and a half which is covered with coarse textured brown bark. There is a strip hanging of the left hand side and i see the bark peels off. I can sense the tree is on the left side of the road and is about 5 metres from the roadside edge. This edge is on an approximate 20 degree incline and is covered with thick lush deep green unkept grass approximately 15cm in length. Behind William it is dark and I sense forest and bush.

ANALYSIS

Landmark Analysis: The "Two-Tone" Tree

The tree itself is a primary landmark for this location:

  • Size: Approximately 1.5 metres wide at the base.

  • Appearance: A striking contrast of textures and colours. The main trunk is a smooth and pale, but it is heavily layered with rough, rugged brown bark approximately 1.5 metres from the base up.

  • Condition: The brown bark is flaking and peeling away in long strips. One specific strip hangs down, half-detached from the left hand side of the trunk.

The Topography: The Roadside Embankment

The psychic navigation leads to a specific transition point between a man-made road and the deep wilderness:

  • The Incline: The tree sits atop a short, grassy unkept slope rising at approximately a 20 degree angle. The grass is very specific : deep green, thick, lush, about 15 cm long.

  • Distance: The trunk is approximately 5 metres from the edge of the road.

  • The Road: The tree is situated on the left-hand side of the road (relative to the direction of travel I am sensing).

  • The Threshold: This tree stands at the very edge of the forest. Behind William, is shadow and the light fades rapidly into the depth and density of the bushland.

This location feels like a "boundary" zone—a place where the cleared roadside meets the beginning of the dense forest. The presence of the large, peeling white/pale tree serves as a sentinel for this specific spot.

After receiving the initial vision of the tree, I began researching to identify the specific species. While it initially appeared similar to a White or Ghost Gum, those didn't feel "right" energetically.

Widening the search led me to the Flooded Gum (Eucalyptus grandis). This species perfectly matches the striking contrast I saw: a towering white trunk with rough, rugged brown bark covering the lower few metres.

A Startling "Coincidence"
In researching where these trees flourish, I discovered a direct link to the area of William’s disappearance:

  • The Kendall Connection: Flooded Gums are native to the Kendall region.

  • "Big Fella": A famous, massive specimen of this exact tree—known locally as "Big Fella"—is located in the nearby Middle Brother National Park.

  • The Road Name: While scanning maps for a connection to the "Big Gum" clue, I found that Batar Creek Road, which runs off Benaroon Drive diverts onto Big Gum Road, which leads directly toward the "Big Fella" tree.

This location sits roughly 10 to 15 minutes from where William was last seen. The alignment between the psychic vision of the "Big Gum" and the literal existence of a "Big Gum Road" in the immediate vicinity is a lead that cannot be ignored. I will need to pursue this further but feel I have a starting general location area.

CONCLUSION: Clues I am taking from this session include the specifics of the tree, the 5 metre embankment, the 20 degree incline from the road, the grassy bank and the type of grass growing there, the left hand side and the impression that this is next to a road. I am also aware of the clue ‘big gum’ and the fact that there is a big gum called Big Fella located off Batar Creek Rd along Big Gum Rd, which may be a useful landmark when cross-referencing these details.
